Uniforms

Teaching in Early Childhood and providing child caregiving follows a lot of similar health and safety regulations practiced in the medical field. At Little Dreamers Academy, we will require Scrubs as our professional uniform. The Staff are allowed to wear Scrubs of their choosing during regular work days. For field trips, professional photos, and events, there will be a solid Black uniform provided. Head Teachers and Co-Teachers may wear Business casual for Parent Conferences and Professional Development Days.

Training & Technology

We take professional development seriously! At Little Dreamers Academy, we will be using technology such as Smart Boards and tablets to train and educate our Staff. We will also utilize group training sessions, individual assessments, and practice Mindfulness. We believe in investing in our employees. We will support our teachers and caregivers by giving them private areas to work , large storage areas for Art & Educational supplies, a Staff Lounge to relax in, and give them 24-hr access to their Training Room.

Private Teacher Offices

Being an Early Childhood Teacher can require a lot of paperwork, files, assessments, and supplies. At Little Dreamers Academy, we are investing in our Teachers by providing Teacher Cubicles, private office space for teachers to get their work done. It allows each Head Teacher to have a sense of ownership as they can decorate their cubicle to their liking, while we provide them with a desktop computer, office chair, printer, desk, file cabinet, and two additional chairs for the Parent Conferences. Teachers can enjoy their own space, away from the classroom noise, so they can keep important paperwork confidential. We provide our Head Teachers with 2-hr daily Office Hours, or 8 total weekly hours. (These hours are paid and included in their benefits package and part of their 8-hr work day.)
